Why should I
flush my brake fluid? |
|
Brake fluid is hydroscopic, meaning
it draws in moisture. If you have a clean glass of brake fluid and
place a drop of water into it it falls to the bottom of the glass.
What is at the bottom of most brake systems are calipers & cylinders
made up for the most part of metal. Rust forms and compromises the
seals & pistons causing leaks & poor performance. Moisture also
lowers the boiling point of brake fluid causing brake pedal fade
under hot conditions. |

Why change my
Timing Belt now? |
|
Most Manufacturer's have set mileage
requirements for changing Timing Belts. Some vehicles have what is
known as an interference engine. In these type of engines when the
Timing Belt breaks the pistons spinning at high revolutions contact
the intake or exhaust valve which have not closed properly due to
the broken belt. This usually calls for major engine repairs. Call
us to see if your vehicle is due for this service or is affected by
the interference problem. |
